Faith Bible Institute
Central Baptist Church maintains an extension campus of Faith Bible Institute, a teaching ministry of the Rowland Road Baptist Church in Monroe, LA.
FBI is a Bible College course of study for every Christian. Students will study chronologically through the entire Bible and systematically through every major doctrine. FBI combines solid Bible teaching with an interactive DVD video format, utilizing student workbooks, charts, 3D maps and images to produce an engaging learning experience.
FBI was started in 1985 by the Rowland Road Baptist Church in Monroe, LA, and is still administered by the same. Bro. John Yates is Senior Pastor at Rowland Road and the instructor for all classes. FBI has trained over 41,000 students since the school was founded!
The FBI program provides a three-year course of study (six semesters, identified by Roman numerals I through VI), which will take the student through every book in the Bible and several theology classes. Students may start at any semester and stop with any semester... and then pick back up as their schedule allows. There is a reasonable enrollment fee to cover your materials and spouses are half-price. Textbooks are the Holy Bible (KJV), almost 2000 pages of student notes prepared by FBI and the 1248-page Willmington's Guide to the Bible. FBI also provides summer elective classes. You do not have to be enrolled in FBI to take the summer electives, however you must still register and pay the summer tuition costs. Classes may be taken for college credit or audited (no testing).
